Alexander Jesson

Alex's experience and talents have extended to becoming an excellent Compere and front man, but it doesn't end here - he is well known in Cornwall for his drumming ability and has performed across the world with the Bodmin College Jazz Orchestra, The Whirlwinds, Trilogy, Cynyc and Midnight City Soul from Birmingham.
Alex is also a talented Graphics designer, creating unique pieces of work for the entertainment industry through Edward J. Design. 

Emily Jesson

Emily is extremely talented in all aspects of performing arts and is qualified in all genres of dance. Emily is a natural and true performer who expresses herself through performance.
Matricks has developed her experience in the industry and helped her become the professional she is today. Emily is an exceptional Musical Theatre Grade 8 Singer. 
 
As well as her love for magic, Emily has a true passion for Musical Theatre and The West End.

Jennifer Bassett

Jennifer began her professional career dancing for Costa and celebrity cruise lines, she then went on to work for spirit productions in the no1 UK Tour of Le Grande Cirque and the U.K Tour of Slapstix. Jennifer also worked for QDOS productions in pantomimes around the UK including High Wycombe, Bradford and Crawley. Continuing her work with Qdos Jennifer performed in shows such as Simply Ballroom, Boogie Wonderland, Land Of Make Believe, iHollywood and iBroadway. She also had the opportunity to dance for artists such as James Morrison, Fatboy Slim, Audio Bullies and the Zutons. Jennifer later worked with VIVA productions touring around the UK with Streetlife and plan b productions for Christmas and corporate productions.

Jacob de la Mare

Jacob is a freelance Stage Manager and Lighting Technician , He has worked in the theatre industry for 10 years working with schools all the way up to the west end with the National Youth Theatre and a worked for Royal Caribbean international, Jacob has been with Matricks for 3 Years now and is still a big part in helping with the production and touring aspect of the show, Jacob and Alex Meet while Jacob was working on a Variety show Matricks was performing in, and hit it off straight away, Jacob is a big part of the Matricks family. 

Owen Yelland

Dave Hancock

After 20 years in the music industry working as a studio engineer including 12 years of teaching music technology and production, Dave found himself doing live sound for a funk band. After a discussion about driving and setting things on fire he found traveling on the road with an illusion act was an interesting development in his career. Dave’s ability to drive long distances with out the aid of energy drinks and ability to put out fires meant that he fitted right in with the Matricks crew. Dave soon became a valued member with his fine art of banter and relationship counselling was only topped by his hatred of mayonnaise that meant he didn’t eat all the sandwiches.
